A Child's Writings

I wrote this well over ten years ago, when I was in primary school and paper was grey-brown recycled jotterpad stuff. Then I found it hunting through old piles of paper and liked it enough still to type it out and keep it. The first part was a "worlds most difficult jigsaw puzzle" - picture on both sides and more things than you should reasonably expect to fit one half that size.

What's in a Jigsaw

Confused fishermen
Waving nets
Swatted with oars
Catching a diver
Confused fishermen
Glared at by fish
Threatened by sharks
Looking alarmed
Confused fishermen.

He hides the decoration behind his back
He shows John the decoration
John gets bored with the decoration
He brings in the list
He unrolls the list
He brings in another list
He unrolls the list
John's horrified - too much lasagna.

I'm going too show you something!
Look at this
It's moving
It's turned into a list
Too much lasagna
Far too much lasagna
Thank goodness less lasagna
Thank goodness no lasagna
It's turned into a trick ball.

Blue
You woke the kiwi up and it attacks you with its beak and claws, retrace your path five steps.
You hear a brown kiwi call -a whistle getting higher most of the way and then falling at the end.

~ End ~
