Character: Draco Malfoy
Summary: The consequences of inbreeding. It might, if you think about it too hard, be considered disturbing.
Inbreeding
The few downsides to being pure-bred were accepted and understood by the upper class of the Wizarding World.
Draco Malfoy had been born with six toes on his left foot. The major corrective spellcasting required to remove the extraneous digit and, most importantly, to ensure that their son’s foot would still remain perfectly proportioned, was nothing exceptional to the elder Malfoys, who had studied the art for decades. So delicate an affair could hardly be left to the mediwizards, after all.
Once removed, the sixth toe bone was pertified, and when Draco was old enough, it was returned to him – a mark of his heritage. He wore it on a silver chain around his neck, in plain view, and when it wished to be visible, it was.
He was a Malfoy and a Pureblood.
He was proud of it.
