Title: Happiness.

For
jedipirate, to cheer up her Norrie!muse after she let the Black Bunny of Angst at him.
Pairing: Well, I never outright say it's Sparringon, but...
Rating: PG-13
Summary: A reunion. No words, one kiss. Happiness with not-quite-invisible shadows of past angst.
Warnings: Slash. No, wait - I don't outright say that, either. Drabble.
Disclaimer: PotC=notmine.
***
What is happiness?
Lover not missing not dead but alive to laugh at him and fling arms around him and knock him endlessly off-balance. Heartbeat steady against his own. Breathing unsteady, but for all the right reasons. Body warm and pliant, melting like chocolate in his grasp, only twice as addictive, and bright bright smile tipped up to meet his own. Rare stillness settling over them as their lips meet and James relaxes for the first time in months. Then finally, finally, lazy-sweet slow exploration of each other’s mouths where words like I missed you go unspoken but not unheard and the whole world is just the two of them, together. And will stay that way – two together - in laughter or tears or disaster or joy.
What is happiness? What should it be, but this?
