Summary: Sparrow's thoughts as he is roasted alive and eaten by cannibals.
Warning: Character death (surprise surprise).
Jack sizzled and charred, the flames leaping and crackling merrily around him.
He also screamed, as that was the done thing when one was being roasted alive. He didn’t usually do the done thing – he was a pirate after all, and pirates didn’t – but it had been about time he made an exception anyway – he didn’t want to be getting predictable at this stage of his life.
After a while, he decided he was bored with screaming – and charring and sizzling for that matter – and fell unconscious.
Permanently severed from his body, Captain Jack Sparrow sprawled at ease on his throne and watched as the cannibals mixed him with roasted vegetables, added even more paprika, and ate him.
Sunlight glittering from ghostly gold teeth as he grinned, Jack raised one hand in a gesture rather too descriptive to mean farewell, and vanished.
