And I'd love to see all of Jack's memories, he'd have so many, some great, some not... As soon as I read this, I instantly had an image of Jack as a retcon addict, with practically all his memories safely tucked away where he can only reach them if he desperately needs to. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd contemplate writing a five (or ten, fifty) things Jack Harkness made himself forget, and one he didn't have to. I think some of my plot-creatures are caterpillars rather than rabbits - eat everything in sight (notably, my brain) then wrap themselves up in a chrysalis for a few weeks to grow without my having to think about them.
