Sparrow, come here. I think there’s something...
I wouldn’t want to be poking at that too hard, mate. It’ll break.
Sparrow, what
is this?Third wall, luv. Or fourth, or something. Lost count, I did. Separates the characters from the author.
Why bother?
We’re not supposed to know about her.
We’re not?
Nope. Might upset the audience if we start talking about them.
Hah. So why do we? Know, I mean, not talk about the audience.
Author’s crazy. Likes the attention, I think.
And the audience?
Crazy too, luv. Just look at their choice of reading material.
You may have a point there, pirate.
Y’know Jamie, I always figured you for a bit of an exhibitionist. Deep down inside, under the uniform and the wig and the silky undergarments and....
What?!
Sparrow, stop it!Are you blushing?
No!
You are blushing.
I am not.
And why not?
Er...
Aren’t you the slightest bit embarrassed about doing everything I’m about to do to you, knowing someone is watching our every move, our every feeling?
Yes I... Jack, stop it.
Do ye want me to stop?
No, but...
Then I’m not going to, luv.
Jack, please.
Just relax. I’m going to fuck you now Jamie.
Please
...Please what, luv.
More?
As you wish.
*As things continue to their logical conclusion (due to the inherent wrongness of writing a sex scene in dialogue only format), Eris regretfully finishes the repairs to the Wall. Parts of it are worn tenuously thin, and unnoticed (yeah, right) by the Goddess, remain that way.*

:-p Oh, I agree most definitely! As for interactions between characters and authors, if you can ever lay your hands on a copy of Tom Holt's My Hero (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1857233654/qid=1109671743/sr=1-62/ref=sr_1_2_62/202-5020260-3865418) (linky is to Amazon.co.uk which has a teeny synopsis) do so. It's a cracking read, and changed the way I view writing forever!
