Books I've read recently:
Shards of Honor (reread)
Barrayar (reread)
Mr Midshipman Hornblower
Lieutenant Hornblower (Fairly sure these last two are Tiggothy's fault.)
Currently reading:
The Fabulous Fox Twins
Emergency Sex and other desperate measures (Non-fiction auto-biography. UN peacekeeping.)
The Gun
Master and Commander (Much better than the movie, I think. And the series is called the Aubrey/Maturin series, which makes me giggle. Much shipness, and practicing with guns and taking prizes.)
Hornblower and the Hotspur (Much squeeage. I have ships and sails and rather underhanded tactics floating around in my head. And PIE! I wasn't expecting pie.)
Planning to read:
The Last Grain Race
Current Anime Obsession:
Bleach
Shura no Toki
Un-fanaffiliated drabbleoid that appeared in my head while reading hornblower:
"But I love you."
"Enough to always come second to a ship? Enough to be left behind time and again not knowing whether I'll return in months or years or not at all? Enough to know that I cannot feel the same, and not hate me for it? Well, I wish you didn't. It would be better if you didn't care."

Random thoughts:
I ate (or rather chewed and spat out) a rosehip. It was really nice - sweet. Texture=evil though.
Is it just that I haven't spent much time in the Starwars fandom that I haven't seen any Han/Chewbacca slash?
It's winter in New Zealand, now.

Date: 2005-06-11 01:16 am (UTC)Have a triple-sentence:
"She thinks I should - what was it? - brush my tail and get on with life?" He sounded angry and amused at the same time. "Well I can't."
It was in ny notes without even a bunny attached to it to help it make sense.
